Harvest collection for ‘Spires’

This year our Year 1 children have been practicing their Harvest songs and have asked the whole school to bring in donations for the charity ‘Spires’,  who help hundreds of homeless and disadvantaged people all year round.  Each year group has been assigned different dried or tinned foods to bring along.

The representatives from Spires came today to collect your generous donations and were absolutely overwhelmed with the amount of food St Teresa’s had acquired.  They brought a large vehicle with them but still had to do two trips to get it all back to their premises.

We really appreciate this act of kindness, which permeates our core values of LOVE & TEAMWORK by helping those less fortunate then ourselves.  Thanking you all for your wonderful generosity!
