Lent Fundraising 2021 and Spring Term RE

We are on our Lenten journey which is coming up to half way now and Easter is fast approaching.  We would ask you to look at The Catholic Children’s Society’s Lent Fundraising 2021 link below, to find out more and understand how this very important charity supports so many people in need.  Our very own Dhiya from the Faith in Action Group talks to you about some ideas on how to raise money.  Please take a look and see what you can do to help. Please bring in all donations following the Easter holidays.  Thanking you for your commitment to helping those in need.

Please see here for information on Spring Term RE, which will enlighten you on what your children are studying. This also gives you some suggestions on how to enhance their understanding.  Please also note the important dates shown for this half term.

Our NED Learning Mantra!

Our learning mantra of Never give up, Encourage others and Do your best (NED) is fundamental to what we do in school (before lockdown) and we celebrate special achievements in NED assembly once a week, where the winners were having a tea party with the Headteacher, getting hot chocolate and biscuit.  However, during the pandemic, we have had to give the children a little bag with an individual hot chocolate and a small treat, instead, which is either posted out or handed to them if they are a key-worker’s child, in school.

We look forward to using the St Teresa’s NED mugs again in the near future,  for our tea parties. These came from Gracie, Giovanna and Manuela, who donated some of their birthday money to pay for them!

Acts of random kindness like these, are such a great feature of our school.  Thank you so much.
